Most Saudi Salla storefronts are mobile-only
Do Saudi online shoppers use mobile or desktop?
Of the 10,781 Salla storefronts we track, 53.2% were seen on mobile only, 42.8% on both mobile and desktop, and just 4.0% on desktop only. A majority of Saudi Salla stores have no measurable desktop audience at all, which makes mobile-first a description of the market rather than a design preference.
This describes the 10,781 Salla storefronts in our file, scanned 27 July 2026. It is a distribution within that file, not a count of every Salla store in existence.
Each record carries a Chrome UX Report popularity rank and the form factors the storefront was observed on. Mobile-only means the store registered enough real Chrome traffic to be ranked on mobile and did not on desktop. It does not mean the desktop site is broken or absent. It means no measurable audience used it.
Because inclusion requires a CrUX rank, storefronts with too little traffic to be ranked are absent entirely. That makes this a description of Salla stores that people actually visit, and it is why our total is below DNS-based counts of Salla domains, which range from roughly 19,600 to 68,000 depending on the source and none of which publish a method.

96% have a mobile audience, 46.8% have a desktop one
Add the first two rows and 96.0% of Salla storefronts have measurable mobile traffic. Add the last two and only 46.8% have measurable desktop traffic.
Anyone selling tooling, themes, apps or services to Saudi merchants is selling into a market where the desktop experience is, for most stores, decorative. A checkout flow, an upsell widget or an ad creative tested on desktop has been tested against the smaller half of the audience, and for 53.2% of stores, against no audience at all.
These are small stores
96.4% of the storefronts sit in the 5,000,000, 10,000,000 or 50,000,000 CrUX rank buckets, which is the long tail. Only 10 storefronts in the entire file rank inside the global top 100,000, and 3 inside the top 50,000.
Salla's Saudi footprint is broad and shallow: thousands of small merchants with real but modest traffic, not a handful of large ones. That shape is the opposite of what a directory of top stores would suggest, and it is why a store list is more useful here than a leaderboard.
